Learning to play ‘jeu de boules’!
Millie celebrated her last day at After School Club, so she can spend some time with her family when her baby sister is born. We have thoroughly enjoyed having Millie with us, especially this term, when she became a prefect. She has proved what a good role model she is to the children, as well as becoming indispensable to the staff!
These are some of the amazing new toys that our After School Club children helped us choose as a result of the whole school collecting over 5300 Sainsbury’s Active Kids vouchers earlier this year.
All the toys will be shared out around the school, in Foundation/Key Stage 1, Key Stage 2 and Breakfast Club/After School Club for use at playtimes. We hope the children will enjoy many happy hours of play, and would like to thank everyone for donating vouchers to provide fun activities.
This week, Sophie had a hair cut. Normally, this would not attract much attention, however, on his occasion she wanted as much attention as possible!
She decided that she wanted to donate some of her hair to charity, so that poorly children who lose their hair due to cancer could wear a wig made of real hair, and so make them feel a bit happier. Mum and Nana accompanied her, and she had 20 centimetres cut! How brave is that!
She was awarded a certificate from the Little Princess Trust. We are all extremely proud of Sophie and send her our congratulations for thinking of of others.
We would love to know what you think, so please blog your comments.
